Luxair has launched a route from Zakynthos, Greece, to Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Flights will begin operating on May 20. Tickets start at $600 roundtrip.

The Zakynthos — Luxembourg route provides direct flights between the Ionian Islands of Greece and one of Europe’s most important financial centers. Thanks to this, travelers can reach their destination directly via Athens or major airports in Western Europe. Flights arrive at Luxembourg Airport (LUX), which is located about 8 kilometers from the city center. The airport is compact, modern, and convenient. The terminal has restaurants, shops, recreation areas, car rental points, and convenient navigation. This allows quickly going through all formal procedures and getting to the city in just 15-20 minutes.

Buses, trams, and taxis mainly provide transport in Luxembourg. Buses and trams are the most popular modes of transportation, as they connect the airport to the city center in about 20-25 minutes. These modes of public transport are free, making trips very convenient. Taxis and car rentals are also available, although they may take a bit longer (15-20 minutes).

From the center, it is convenient to continue trips around the Grand Duchy, as well as to neighboring countries such as France, Belgium, and Germany, thanks to the well-developed railway network. This makes the region attractive for both tourists and business travelers.
